It is written in the Gospel according to Mark 4:37-41 King James Version (KJV) 37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. 38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

Fear, lack of faith and unbelief make you weak and vulnerable. The enemy hears when you speak out your fear and feeds on it making you an object for persecution. The enemy makes the storms of life your food and God allows that to happen to sharpen, refine and make you stronger and perfect. The storms of life are never greater than you make them. Believers have a secret and simple weapon that can calm the storms anyday anytime; by passing a spiritual decree and commanding the storm to cease in the name of Jesus Christ. You command the storm by saying “peace, be still” and the storms will obey you.

Peter the Apostle walked on water after Jesus Christ but he had doubts in his heart, so when he took off his eyes from focusing on Jesus and rather focused on the storm, he became afraid and lost his little faith and then began to drown. Never focus on the Storm but let all your focus be on Jesus, our Savior and the author and finisher of our faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)

The coming Storm is a form of test to believers in its trail; southern states. Believers have to stand firm and rebuke the storm from harming them and their whole household. If and only if believers will all go back to God and repent, their faith and authority will be renewed. The storm comes in its due season and you cannot pray to stop it, but you can pray to divert it away from your household.

Peace, be still! is the secret weapon to fight the storms of our lives in the name of Jesus Christ. Apart from the physical storm, there are also myriads of storms you can command to cease including but not limited to spiritual warfare, dwindling finances, relationship and emotional breakdown. These storms of life are ongoing in the life of a believer because the enemy’s formula is to drive the believer crazy by creating these storms in their lives. The only result the enemy wants is for the believer to give up on God, deny God, speak against, insult or abuse the name of God so he can present that before God against you. So in every storm of live you face; Never give up! Never curse God like Job’s wife advised him! Never compromise! Trust God always! Wait on the Lord for your salvation because the battle is never yours but the Lord’s! Use your spiritual gift! Command the storm to cease.

You have all the power in you through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. God has not given to you the spirit of fear. Sing this song when the storms of life gets too close for comfort.
